Jeremy is the younger brother of Elena Gilbert. After his parents died Jeremy turned to drugs and alcohol. During that time he got close to Vicki Donovan, who soon after was killed by Damon. He has a ring, along with Alaric to protect him from supernatural beings. He’s developed friendships with everyone in this circle, but doesn’t know they are witches.
